The Natural Pause Join me for an in-person gathering where you can slow down, unwind and take some time to yourself. Each gathering is intentionally designed to help you relax and to come into presence with yourself, eachother and nature. Through a nature-based activity you will be invited to leave the daily demands life makes on us at the door and enter a relaxing experience. I aim to facilitate a shift from being 'in our heads only' to engaging our senses and dabbling in mindfulness, all in collaboration with nature. To capture our time on the land we will also have time for something creative, albeit through drawing, capturing words or throughts, working with clay. I always have materials handy and zero artistry or experience is required! When women come together something powerful can happen. I offer a nurturing space guided by those present - what does 'A Natural Pause' evoke in you- joy, tears, relaxation? I encourage you to come as you are, as well as to bring your honest and authentic voice. I open up the conversation to find our common threads, the ones that bind us a humans. What to expect: a beautiful yurt at our disposal guided relaxation time: a combo of light breathwork, meditation and/or guided imagery a nature-based activity prompting presence, connection & reflection a nurturing space inviting you to be seen, felt and heard a form of drawing, painting, art or other creative expression a felt sense of wellbeing and relaxation and some great company too! the first hour and a half is guided by Nina, the last hour is unguided and intended for social purposes About Nina Nina is a nature facilitator, eco-therapist and eco-depth practitioner. In a time of personal turmoil she found her way back to nature which put her life very much on a 'new and improved' trajectory. She believes that somewhere along the way we forgot something essential – that we are not separate from the living world, we belong to it. This innate connection was never lost though, only forgotten. So it's not about learning something new, it is about remembering what we have always known — that the living world has always been your home. The ground beneath our feet for hundreds of thousands of years, long before modern life pulled us indoors, online, and into the relentless pace of days that leave little room to breathe, let alone to notice. Part of Nina's work is to facilitate The Natural Pause. "To slow down. To notice. To seek connection with the natural world is my own remedy against a fast-paced and demanding world."
