The Study Society
The Alchemist’s Way Plainly and honestly, this is not a typical workshop. There is no dramatic performance, no love and light ceremony, and no big experience being promised. In a world of countless offerings that promise a shift, a release, or a high, I am instead offering the invitation to explore Truth. As I prepare this event description, (the one that is supposed to convince you that you must attend because your life will change), whilst my hope and belief is that your life could quite potentially change, instead I hope to share honestly what it's all about. Because this isn't about distraction, or the promise that you'll leave feeling ‘spiritualised’ or glowing with love and light. It's a space to sit, to be, to notice and relate, and to meet yourself more honestly and in the journey to perhaps find something you didn't know was there, or deepen a relationship with yourself in ways you haven't before. A Different Way of Seeing We generally learn disciplines and practices in isolation, things that work on or fix a specific thing and in a certain way. Often we become attached to a single modality and once we find a framework we like, sometimes our exploration or integration slows or stops. We stop questioning and we stop integrating. Instead of broadening our understanding, getting more curious and questioning the frameworks so we can carve out our own paths and step so much more fully into our true self, it's all too easy to stick with the approved manual. One of the things I've come to see, through my own process and through working with others, is that so much of what we do is based on a quiet assumption that something is wrong and needs our intervention. The continuous seeking and perpetual inner work and transformation. And yes, we are conscious creators, so awareness of our patterns, blueprints and behaviours is fundamental to our experience. But unless we begin to really seek inner truth and clarity inside of ourselves, and begin to bridge ancient and current, we don't discover the whole. Mind, body, nervous system and awareness are not separate processes, but one living system and you are the point of perception and relation and expression for all of them. The Thread Behind The Work My background spans psychology, shamanic healing practices, hypnotherapy, embodiment work, and presence-based approaches. Over the last 15 years, I've explored many different paths, not to collect methods, (although in the beginning I did) but because I've always been driven by one thing . . . an insatiable drive for Truth about the nature of reality and how we can live happier lives or learn how to relate to the darkness more powerfully. Reality creation teachings and quantum physics now bridge what was once described through mystical or indigenous language and so we find ourselves at a point where we can begin to understand our own creative power in a much more direct and lucid way. The evening is focused on: • A deeper understanding of what we are, not conceptually but experientially. • A deeper and more conscious connection to the dream we call life. • How change actually occurs or unfolds. Over time and through my personal night dreaming practice, these explorations have begun to converge into what I call The Alchemist's Way. It's not a new method. It's more like a unifying perspective. A way of seeing that brings together mind, body, nervous system and awareness, without separating them. And shifts us from passive participant to conscious creator. What We'll Explore Together This 2.5 hour session comes from that. A space to perceive and connect more clearly and to consider another way of relating to your body, your life and the whole of reality. Through presence and embodied practice, we will explore the relationship between sensation, emotion, nervous system, and the patterns that quietly shape how we experience life. Not to analyse or solve them, but to be with them and begin to understand the map of our own being. That simple act is more powerful than we could possibly imagine and from there, something shifts. Not because we've done something to make it happen, but because we are no longer relating to ourselves in the same way. The evening will run from 7pm until approximately 9:30pm, with a short comfort break during the session. The room is available until 10pm, allowing time afterwards for tea, connection, questions, or simply a gentle landing before heading home. This is an intimate group, limited to 12 participants, allowing space for reflection, exploration and connection. We will be in the West Studio . Please bring a yoga mat, bottle of water, notepad and pen, and anything else you need to feel comfortable. The Ground Beneath It All There is an innate intelligence that sits behind all of this. A natural movement. A self-ordering. What I can only describe as the rhythm of IAM. A quiet coherence that does not need your control, but your attention. Presence, Being, IAM, is the ground of this work. Who This Is For This evening may resonate if you: • Are curious about the deeper nature of yourself and reality. • Feel drawn to mindfulness, psychology, embodiment, dreaming, consciousness or spiritual exploration, but are looking for a more integrated perspective. • Are tired of endlessly fixing yourself and curious about a different relationship with change. • Want a grounded and experiential space to explore awareness beyond concepts and theory. No prior experience is needed. A Final Question So, I'll leave this here with a question. Who is called to a space where nothing is being sold to them, and they can actually meet themselves? Who is ready to take radical personal responsibility for their experience and their reality? You are the dreamer, it'i time to become lucid, i truly have found it to be one of the greatest most beautiful gifts i could ever give myself and continue to unwrap. This space is about awareness and lived truth, not concepts or fixed doctrine. If that resonates, you're very welcome.
