Join us for the second SoulCanvas session at Art A Wish: a gentle and reflective art-based workshop led by Richa Parikh, an HCPC-registered Art Psychotherapist whose practice is rooted in creativity, connection, and emotional presence. Last session we explored changing beliefs, exchanged stories, anecdotes, shared some laughter and some really yummy drinks.🍹 We’d love to have you join us for the next Creative Wellbeing Session on 27th June for a new exciting prompt, new connections, and the same warm, creative space. The session offers an opportunity to step outside the pressures of everyday life and enter a welcoming “third space” between work and home, one rooted in curiosity, honesty, and human connection. No art experience is needed. No pressure to create something “good.” Just come as you are. What to expectGentle prompts exploring creativity, reflection, and connection Freedom to engage in your own way, at your own pace A warm, inclusive, and non-judgmental environment Focus on process over product — expression, not perfection Space for meaningful conversation and shared presence These workshops sit somewhere between a creative social gathering and a reflective wellbeing space. While they are not therapy sessions or clinical in nature, they are carefully held by a registered Art Psychotherapist using creative and reflective practices. About the practitionerDrawing from her background as both an artist and psychotherapist, Richa creates spaces where art becomes more than an act of making - it becomes a way to slow down, reflect, and connect with ourselves and one another. Guided by the belief that creative expression allows people to “be held, be seen, and be heard in the fullness of their being,” this workshop invites participants into a thoughtfully facilitated space centred on exploration rather than performance. Shared values for the spaceConfidentiality — what is shared in the space stays in the space Choice & consent — sharing is always optional Respect — for different identities, experiences, and ways of being Come alone or with a friend, and allow yourself time to slow down, get curious, and reconnect through art.
