RESET x HELD: Somatic Tools for Everyday Life This special edition of RESET is dedicated to offering practical somatic tools that can support you in everyday life. Facilitated by Galit Criden and Rosalind (Rosie) Noctor, this workshop combines somatic movement, sound-based practices, and gentle touch to support participants in exploring new ways of moving, resting, creating, and relating to their bodies. Together, we invite you to discover how movement, sound, and connection can become resources for regulation, expression, and self-awareness. Whether you are completely new to movement practices or an experienced mover, every RESET session is grounded in the exploration of four core pillars: The Ritual Container The Ecstatic-Wild State Sound as a Tool for Creative Expression The Collective RESET combines structure and freedom through guided movement and sound, inviting participants to move at their own pace while nurturing regulation, imagination, autonomy, and presence. For this special edition, RESET welcomes Rosie Noctor, founder of HELD, a practice that creates space to pause, soften, and receive the nourishment of safe, supportive touch. In a world where many of us spend our time caring for family, work, and community, HELD offers a rare opportunity to rest without agenda, reconnect with the body, and restore balance through the simple yet profound act of being held. Together, Rosie and Galit weave their practices into an afternoon of exploration, support, and connection. About the FacilitatorsRosalind Noctor is a dancer, mother, and certified Ilan Lev Method practitioner. With a background in performance and somatic healing, she brings a unique sensitivity to the relationship between body, touch, and community. Her own journey through motherhood and movement revealed the profound nourishment of being held — a simple act that restores balance, stimulates oxytocin, and nurtures a sense of belonging. Through HELD, Rosalind offers a sanctuary where participants can pause, soften, and receive safe, supportive touch within a circle of trust and care. Galit Criden is a choreographer, researcher, and somatic movement practitioner with over 17 years of experience. Her facilitation is trauma-sensitive and informed by Polyvagal Theory, integrating influences from contemporary dance, mindfulness practices, and matriarchal research. She holds a Dancing for Parkinson's qualification through People Dancing UK, and her RESET method draws upon her ongoing research into embodied practice, care, autonomy, and collective movement experiences. Throughout the workshop, participants will be guided through practices involving movement, touch, sound, and deep listening. The experience gradually expands from subtle internal awareness into fuller, more expressive and playful movement. There will also be opportunities for reflection, sharing, and connection with others. By the end of this two-hour workshop, you can expect to leave feeling more grounded, renewed, and connected to yourself. You will take away practical somatic tools that can be integrated into daily life, along with a deeper sense of your own rhythm, autonomy, and capacity for listening to what your body needs.
