Overview Join me for an intimate small group sound bath in the heart of Greenwich. It's a perfect way to end the week, unwind, ground, release the tensions and reconnect with yourself. Guided sound journey is a beautiful way of resetting the nervous system and allowing your body and mind to process what's undeneath. It's not just a relaxing experience - it's creating the space for the body to soften, for the mind to listen and for the healing to happen. Event details Location: The sound bath will take place in "Serenity Body and Soul" group studio right next to the Greenwich market. What to bring: Please bring a water bottle to keep hydrated. There are yoga mats available in the studio, or you might wish to bring your own. Please bring your own blanket, pillow, eye mask or anythign else that will help you to feel comportable and will allow you to create a cozy nest. What to wear: Please wear warm comfortable clothing and warm socks that will allow you to lie down and relax completely. You might want to bring a warmer layer as well, since as body temperature can fluctuate during the sound bath. Timings: Please arrive on time, doors open at 4pm. The sound bath will start shortly after that, and no entry will be possible for late comers. If you are unable to attend, a family member or friend can join in your place. Please notify me with their name in advance. IMPORTANT - Please read the contra-indications below before booking. I look forward to sharing the medicine of the sound with you, Iryna - The Goddess Thread ----------------------------------- Sound Therapy and Sound Healing is recognised as a low risk holistic means of treatment or therapy, and for me as a professional practitioner your safety is of the utmost importance. For this reason, when it comes to practicing Sound Therapy and Sound Healing there are a few guidelines, to which I adhere. Also known as 'Contra-indications', these are as follows: Sound Bath - contraindications and precautions: Epilepsy Severe mental condition Intoxicated patients (drugs or alcohol) Pregnancy first trimester (always consult your GP if not sure) Peacemaker High Fever , temperature over 38, cold, flue Recent surgery (recommended to wait at least 6 weeks, consult your GP) Please let me know if any of the following applies, since it might mean that I need to change the intensity or style of the instruments that will be played during the session: Any continued medication (consult your GP) Allergies Tinnitus or other sound sensitive condition. Severe depression, anxiety or post traumatic stress. Pregnancy Skin infections, contagious skin conditions Any heart conditions Any mechanic device like heart pacer inside the body Any metal plates inside the body Previously experienced stroke Brain injuries or brain operations in the past Meningitis Haemorrhage, haemophilia Acute Pneumonia, lungs infections or inflammation Kidney failure, kidney stones Respiratory failure or inflammation Liver failure or inflammation Highly metastatic cancer (e.g. lymphoma, malignant melanoma) Any blood infections (sepsis, bacteremia, blood clots) Hearing Aids – please remove before the sound bath ( some frequencies may cause hearing aids to buzz or whistle) If you have any other type of condition not listed above that may be a cause for concern, please contact your doctor and/or contact me to discuss in advance
