Queen's Park Gardens
This Nature Challenge in Queen's Park Gardens is open to everyone! Adults and children are welcome (however, children must be supervised by their responsible adult at all times). To successfully complete this Nature Challenge, teams will have to complete a series of activities and mini-challenges in the park ands its vicinity, to be revealed on the day. Examples of activities are mini bioblitzes, nature scavenger hunts, and other creative challenges! The meet-up is scheduled for 3 pm at by the entrance of Wild area of Queen's Park Gardens. We'll sign up the teams and brief the participants. To ensure everyone has fun, we'll offer two tracks: the standard one (recommended for adult teams, with no or older children) and the junior one (recommended for teams with little ones, or adults who want to keep it easy :-). The Challenge is based on a playful, fun, inclusive approach designed to help community members connect with Nature and pay more attention to the beauty and diversity of species living in local parks, thus seeing them differently. It also fosters collaborative and teamwork skills. At 4.30 pm, all the participants will gather and share what they've discovered. The winning teams will receive special awards. Children must be supervised by their responsible adult at all times.
