Summer Solstice Gong Bath and Kundalini Meditation On the longest day of the year, nature reaches the peak of its expression, offering us a powerful invitation to do the same. The Summer Solstice is a moment of heightened energy—a sacred threshold that calls us to step into a journey of transformation. Through perseverance, commitment, and grace, we are given the opportunity to align with our highest potential and consciously participate in the cycles of growth, renewal, and evolution that nature so beautifully mirrors. On the 21st of June, we will gather in meditation to honour this potent turning point and plant intentions that support our deepest growth and purpose. Together, we will release old stories, patterns, and limitations, allowing them to fall away so that we may welcome a new cycle filled with possibility, clarity, and expansion. During this 90-minute immersive session, the sacred vibrations of the gong will guide and support your inner journey, creating space for release, renewal, and deep connection. Through meditation, you will be invited to cultivate clarity of intention and reconnect with your inner wisdom, harnessing the transformative energy of the Solstice to step forward with greater purpose and openness to what is ready to emerge. What to Expect A nurturing, beautiful and safe space to be yourself Breathing exercise to settle in and prepare to listen the inner voice to set intentions. Deep Relaxation through a restorative Gong Bath Prosperity meditation through Mantra Time for Tea, connection and community Benefits of a Gong Bath & Sound Healing Gong and sound baths are known for their powerful relaxing and restorative effects. Benefits can include: Deep relaxation and stress relief. Calming and strengthening the nervous system. Improved sleep and emotional balance. Increased energy and vitality. Chakra balancing and energetic alignment. Mental clarity and inner stillness. A space where deep healing can naturally occur. Gong baths are often described as a meditation through sound, where the vibrations of the gongs help quiet the mind and bring the body into a restorative state. Mantra A mantra is the projection of the mind through sound. The word itself shows this: man means mind, and traṅgmeans wave or projection. When you chant, you ride a wave that carries the mind toward stillness and clarity. In Kundalini Yoga, sound has structure and a predictable effect on the psyche. Pronunciation and rhythm matter. Linking mantra to breath strengthens the impact. This is why Kundalini Yoga treats sound as a teacher in its own right: Shabd Guru, the sound current that dissolves ego and awakens authenticity. What to Bring and Wear at a Gong Bath To feel fully comfortable during the sound bath meditation, please wear warm, comfortable clothing as the body can cool during deep relaxation. Please bring your own mat, and please bring whatever you need to feel comfortable during the session. Temperature tents to drop during relaxation, so a blanket is very much recommended and a cushion or pillow for your head. Contraindications of a Gong Bath: Gong baths may not be suitable for everyone. Precautions: Tinnitus, Pacemaker, Epilepsy, Pregnancy or Severe mental health conditions Please avoid alcohol, recreational drugs or excessive caffeine before attending the session. If you are unsure whether a sound bath or gong meditation is suitable for you, please consult your healthcare professional or contact us beforehand.
