1 Warwick by Maslow's
________ Hosted at 1 Warwick, a wellbeing-focused members' house, this cosy in-person workshop invites participants into a reflective and creative inner space through guided meditation and intuitive writing practices. The session begins with a guided meditation incorporating grounding and gentle Reiki energy work, designed to support presence, relaxation, and embodied awareness. From this stillness, participants are guided into a stream-of-consciousness writing exercise that encourages free, unedited expression without judgement or outcome. Through carefully designed prompts and symbolic card associations, participants are invited to translate sensory experience into language, imagery and metaphor. The focus is not on interpretation or performance, but on allowing thoughts, sensations, and intuitive impressions to emerge organically. Tartary Buckwheat Tea from Tabúcha, which is caffeine-free and has multiple wellness benefits, will also be served during the session to support a grounded, reflective atmosphere. This practice can reveal surprising insights, unlock creative blocks, and offer a direct channel to your subconscious wisdom. About your host: Alina R.J is a London-based artist, meditation facilitator and energy worker exploring the intersection of creativity, embodiment and emotional wellbeing. She offers both group workshops and private 1:1 sessions integrating guided meditation, Reiki, sound journeys, somatic practices and creative expression, creating spaces for people to slow down, tune into the body and access deeper awareness. Alina has facilitated sessions at galleries, private events, various cultural and wellness spaces across London and beyond. Rooted in practices of embodiment, ritual, and inner stillness, her work bridges artistic inquiry with contemplative practice, focusing on holding space for presence through reflective environments that support grounding, sensory awareness and deeper connection with self and others. About the project: House of Umai is a gathering space for people drawn to creativity, inner life and the practices that connect the two. Inspired by Umai, a celestial goddess in Turkic cosmology, invisible guardian and keeper of the space where life begins, it is a place where artistic inquiry and contemplative practice meet. The work draws from Alina R.J.’s ongoing artistic inquiry into embodiment, the psyche, and the unseen, and is open to anyone who feels drawn to it. Through guided meditation, sound journeys and expressive creative sessions, House of Umai creates intimate experiences rooted in embodiment, presence and the quiet intelligence of the body.
