🌿 Reconnect: A Journey for wellbeingAfter a short pause from our in-person gatherings, Reconnect returns with an invitation to explore joy through mindful movement. Making space for joy by first listening to what needs attention. This workshop offers a space to slow down, listen to the body, and explore the sense of freedom that might arise from within. Through guided movement, breathwork, grounding practices, creative reflection, and gentle improvisation, we'll explore what helps us feel alive, connected, and present. 👥 Who Is It For?Adults of all ages, genders, and cultural backgrounds, anyone seeking to feel more in tune with themselves, reduce stress, and explore movement as a pathway to well-being. 🌟 These sessions are guided with care, inclusivity, and respect. Everyone is encouraged to move at their own pace and honour their own needs, while supporting the comfort and boundaries of others. 🌸 What to ExpectRather than fixing or forcing anything, the practice invites you to notice sensations and emotions, and respond to them in an organic, embodied way, building trust with your body and tools that can support you in daily life. No movement experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to explore. Across the sessions, we’ll return to simple yet powerful practices, including: 🌬️ Somatic movement & breathwork 🌍 Grounding exercises & body listening 🎶 Guided improvisation, discovering your unique movement 🎨 Creative expression & reflective tasks 🤸 Meet the FacilitatorHi, I’m Yuyu Rau, a mindful movement facilitator and dance artist with over 20 years’ experience in dance, theatre, and creative education. I hold an MA in Theatre for Community and Education (Distinction, Mountview) and am trained in trauma-informed and inclusive practice. My passion is creating inclusive, welcoming spaces where people can slow down, listen to their bodies, and move without pressure or judgment.
