The Paradise Cooperative
Take a summer evening to slow down, breathe and reconnect with nature. Led by Sarah Williams, a qualified Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) practitioner and long-time volunteer at the garden, this Paradise Together session blends calm reflection, simple wellbeing tools and the healing energy of the garden. We'll spend the evening exploring how the natural world can support balance and resilience through a grounding welcome activity as you arrive, a group EFT tapping session, a mindful creative walk in the garden, and light refreshments and time to pause, notice and share. You'll leave with a sense of calm, a deeper connection to yourself and the space around you, and a practical technique you can use any time you need to re-centre. This session is limited to 15 places to keep the group small and the atmosphere warm. Booking is essential. If you book a ticket and can no longer come, please do cancel your space so someone else in our community can join. This is a free event, open to everyone aged 16+. No experience of EFT or wellbeing practices needed, just come curious. First time visiting? Find us here. More details: What is EFT tapping? EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) is a gentle, holistic self-help approach that combines light fingertip tapping on specific acupressure points on the hands, face and body with focused attention on thoughts or feelings. It draws on both traditional Chinese medicine and modern Western psychology. It is widely used to support wellbeing, manage stress and anxiety, and build emotional resilience. What should I bring? A bottle of water to sip throughout! EFT tapping can be thirsty work! An open mind and the curiosity to try something new that you can take away and practise yourself. Is it going to be very physical? Not at all. You will be seated throughout the EFT tapping part of the session. The nature-based practice involves a gentle, mindful walk around the garden, nothing strenuous. Will I have to share personal experiences? You are warmly welcome to share if you'd like to, and participation is encouraged, but there is absolutely no obligation. All exercises allow for personal discretion, and you can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. How can I carry on tapping after the session? Sarah will provide a handout with an overview of EFT tapping and tips for continuing the practice at home, so you can build on what you've learnt and add it to your own personal wellbeing toolkit. Is this suitable for me if I've never tried anything like this before? Absolutely, this session is designed for everyone, whether you're completely new to EFT and nature-based wellbeing or have some experience already. Come as you are.
