Velorose Ltd
A listening walk hosted by sound artist Ethan Cohen as part of Velorose's (BE)LONGING Summer Show, with artworks that address the themes of Being, Longing, and Belonging. This listening walk is your opportunity to be part of an artwork entitled ‘Equivocating Ground ((BE)LONGING Listening Walk)’. This is a chance to walk and listen, together, without talking. Written prompts specific to certain sites along the route will be handed out along the way. Starting at Velorose Gallery, on the boundary between the City of London and Clerkenwell, walking through Barbican, Hatton Garden, and back to Velorose. After the walk, we will gather back at Velorose to talk and reflect on the thoughts, feelings, sensations, and memories encountered along the way. Refreshments provided. Personal belongings can be left at the gallery for the duration of the walk. Please bring a bottle of water with you. Please arrive no later than 18:20h, as the walk begins promptly at 18:30h. Timing: Arrival: 18:00h, Briefing: 18:20h, Walk: 18:30h to 20:00h, Discussion until 20:30h.
